This course will focus on using hardwood sawdust and wood chips to make a mushroom bed. You will be lead through hands on step by step instruction in the process of making a mulch mushroom bed in a myco-remediation project. These mulch beds can also be used to enhance the soil of your garden or just to produce yummy mushrooms in your yard for your own enjoyment. We will discuss the many mushroom types that are good candidates for each of these purposes while we build a mulch bed. Each participant will take home one 5lb bag of mushroom spawn ideal for making mulch beds and an instruction pamphlet. This course will be personally taught by Brian Hale.
