This workshop will cover a variety of different methods for cultivating mushrooms on cereal straws (wheat straw in this case) and other substrates. You will learn different methods of pastuerizing substrates and several different ways to contain the substrate while it colonizes. You will learn both passive and active methods for fruiting your mushrooms. Please dress for the weather in clothes that you dont mind getting dirty. All tools Materials and supplies needed will be provided for you. 1 5lb bag of Oyster mushroom spawn will be included with this workshop for you to take home with you.This course will be personally taught by Brian Hale.
